Prenatal Class

Kosten: Course fee: usually covered by health insurance (see AGB); partner fee (participation optional): € 120 (usually at least partially covered by health insurance - see AGB)

• Throughout this course you will learn about the physiology of birth, stages of labor and how to know when it's time to go to the hospital. We will talk about how to cope with the pain during labor and get practical by trying out breathing and relaxation techniques, birth positions and getting to know the pelvic floor. You will get an overview of the german health system and what to expect at the hospital. On the last day we will also cover topics such as breastfeeding and postpartum recovery. My goal is to empower you in the process of becoming parents.
• You can participate online from anywhere or in person at the Baby&Elternzentrum in Bamberg.
• The participation of the partner is optional. If the partner does participate, you will be chargend with a partner fee of € 120.
• Approximately one week before the course starts, you will receive an email from the midwife containing general information about the course and the current course conditions.
• Please ensure that you provide accurate information during your online registration. If you indicate that you have private health insurance, you will be responsible for paying the course fee yourself and arranging reimbursement independently with your insurance provider. Please also refer to the terms and conditions (AGB) for this course.
